Congratulations, you’re engaged!!! You have picked a date and now it’s time to plan, but where to start? We can help guide you through the process by giving you the five key vendors that should be booked right away!

There are Five Key Vendors that should be booked as soon as your date is set. Granted there is not one vendor more important than the other, in my 30 plus years in the entertainment industry and the last 15 in the wedding industry, I have found that booking the following vendors as soon as possible will put you ahead in your planning. By booking the following vendors right away it will give you time to concentrate on the finer details, most importantly finding the perfect attire!

No.1 The Venue
In order to create the perfect event, it's all about location, location, location. Now, some of the best venues are booked years in advance so, pick your venue and your date wisely. Whether a backyard, field, hall or the venue of your dreams; the venue is a key element to setting the stage and making a statement about your wedding or event.

No.2 The Food
Food is absolutely key for any celebration. Who doesn't have a family member that isn't expected to bring their best cooked or baked dish to a meal. Food helps solidify the memories of a special day. Make certain you find the very best catering company to feed your guests at your celebration.

No.3 The Entertainment
Like food, your entertainment is an absolute for your celebration. Do not DIY this part, I am aware there are folks out there that will tell you it's fine to have a reception without entertainment, but it has been my experience the massive majority of couples who do not plan entertainment regret it halfway through the first song. Hire a pro or band, I suggest a Dj because your song selection is almost limitless. Entertainers have the experience to maintain the energy level you wish your party to be at throughout the evening.  Ask around and hire a pro.

No.4 The Photographer
We can't forget the Photographer. They are there to capture the memories for you to look back on. The best photographers are not cheap but worth the money you invest in them. Ask around and ask them as many questions to be sure you'll be getting your vision in the perfect light.
